Introduction

When I was a child, I had my heart set on becoming an engineer. This early ambition nudged me from my very first moment of choosing a stream after 10th grade. After researching the requirements for admission into engineering colleges, I discovered that selecting the science stream was essential. With this knowledge I took the science stream after my 10th board results. After a blow I decided this was one more step toward my long-term vision of becoming an engineer. So, I started preparing for entrance exams that are required to get into engineering colleges. Though the journey was tough, it was a very important part of walking into my dream. That should serve as a lesson that you must think hard if the stream and your career are related or not, before making such big decisions to select branch and make sure of doing research from every point. One more thing, I was much more interested into academic subject like Math’s Physics and Chemistry. It can be seen till my interest which was developed, made the decision to choose Science stream even more advantageous. Not just that, I also happened to enjoy and be good at these subjects too so it added great fulfillment as well.

Selecting the right stream after 10th board results is one of those significant steps that set a foundation for your future academic and career journey. The level of variety which is present can make it hard to decide what exactly you want.
