Stage 1: Online Assessment

The first stage of the Adobe Product Intern interview process was an online assessment that included both aptitude and coding questions. The aptitude section tested various logical, quantitative, and verbal skills, providing a well-rounded measure of my problem-solving abilities.

In the coding section, I faced two questions. These questions required a strong grasp of algorithms and data structures to solve effectively. Although challenging, they allowed me to showcase my programming skills and logical thinking.

Stage 2: Technical Interview

Having successfully cleared the online assessment, I moved on to the second stage: the technical interview. This stage was highly focused on my resume and areas of expertise. The interviewer asked detailed questions about my past projects, technical skills, and experiences listed on my resume.

Core Subject Questions:

The interviewer probed my knowledge of core computer science subjects, particularly Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), DBMS and Networking. These questions tested my theoretical understanding and practical application of these concepts.

Hackathon Experience:

Given my participation in a cybersecurity hackathon, the interviewer delved into my experiences and challenges faced during the event. This part of the interview highlighted the importance of practical, hands-on experience in the tech industry.

Coding Questions:

The interviewer also presented two coding problems:

1. Circular Linked List: The first problem required me to solve a question related to a circular linked list, a fundamental data structure concept.

2. Robber Problem: The second problem was more complex, involving a scenario where I had to determine the maximum number of coins a robber could rob from a series of houses, given certain constraints. This problem tested my ability to devise an efficient algorithm under specific conditions.

Verdict: Not Selected

Despite my best efforts and thorough preparation, I was ultimately not selected for the Adobe Product Intern position. While the outcome was disappointing, the experience was invaluable. It provided me with a deeper understanding of the interview process at a major tech company and highlighted areas where I could improve.
