Hello, everyone. I am Hema Harshini, a first-year undergraduate pursuing Computer Science and Engineering. INTRODUCTION: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (an Engineering college) is ranked 7th in the NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) rankings. It has branches in Amritapuri, Chennai, Amravati, Bangalore, Kochi, Faridabad, and Mysuru, and conducts the AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination) for admission into the college. The exam is conducted in both online and offline modes. The time limit is 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam consists of 100 questions, divided as:
The marking scheme is +3 for a correct answer and -1 for an incorrect answer. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions. MY EXAM EXPERIENCE: My paper was quite lengthy. All three subjects had lengthy calculations. So, I solved questions that were theory-based, graph-based, and required less calculation first, and then I went through the lengthy questions. This saved a lot of my time instead of wasting time on tough questions. The Mathematics section was the lengthiest in my shift, as the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. This strategy worked very well for me, and I scored very well, making me eligible for Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita Amritapuri. PREPARATION STRATEGY:
