WordPress is an open-source Content Management System that is based on PHP and MySql which is used to create a dynamic website. Meta Tag generates codes or tags for search engines to pick up your page titles and meta descriptions. These are HTML codes used to describe the content of a page. In this article, we are going to discuss how we can Delete Meta tags from WordPress.
Steps to Delete Meta Tags in WordPress using Plugins
Step 1: Login WordPress
Go to the WordPress login panel and provide the username and password to log in to the WordPress Dashboard. You can access the login panel by adding /wp-login.php at the end of your website URL.

After login into WordPress, you will be able to see a dashboard like this:

Step 2: Search and Open post
We have to search and open the Post. From the menu option on the left side, there are many options. Go to the Plugins>> Add new Plugins.

After clicking on Add new Plugin, you will see a similar Page like this:

Now Search WP Hardening on search bar located at top right side. After Searching it we will see various related plugins but we have to install WP Hardening by Astra Security

Step 4: Installation Process
Now Click on WP Hardening- (Fix your WordPress Security – Astra Security). and Click on Install Now option

Step 5: Activate the plugin
After Installation is done we will see an option of Activate , Now click on it. Once Activation is done, Refresh the page

Step 6: Navigation to Security Fixers Tab
Now See From the menu option on the left side, there are many options. Go to the WP Hardening>> Security Fixers.

Step 7: Removal of Meta information
After Navigating to Security Fixers Tab, Go To Disable Information Disclosure & Remove Meta information. If it’s Disable Make it enable
