My career journey from Drop year to NIT Allahabad

At the very beginning of the year, I was panicking at the thought of which month JEE would happen.

As JEE 2021 was extended till Oct.

Anxious over syllabus completion and engaged over one-shot videos, arrives February, the month of love but for us, a month of rumors.

Luckily March cleared our doubts and 1st session was planned for April and 2nd session in the subsequent month. So the pleasant month of March was heated up and gave rise to the most unstable state.

Another great and best thing happened in April when all hopes of Releasing Admit cards went down after the press release of the NTA conducting JEE 2022 in June and July.

At that moment, I can recall, I thanked God for granting me this opportunity.

Now as well said The more you get, the more you take for granted.

So instead of witnessing any improvement in mock tests and analyzing them, I was distracted by watching the 60 days strategy videos, one shot of lengthy topics rather than reviewing sub-topics.

Somehow I managed to score around 170 marks in mocks in consecutive 2 months.

Gave Mathongo AYJR (believe me that was so reliable.)

Here comes the month of JUNE and the date of the 27th of June came flying. Attempted the paper and it was the second easiest paper of the first session.

In July, the result was released, Scoring 158 with 97.65%ile.

Having regrets and fueling up myself with that, I started preparations by analysing the first session sheets. It was the 28th Morning and luckily this time paper was moderate but never depend upon a second attempt.

In August, the final %ile with the rank was released, Scoring 160 with 96.5%ile. So the best out of the two was 97.5%ile with a CRL of around 22k.

In mid-August, was not hoping much with Advance, so tried it with just hopes and didn’t get outcomes.

After all these occurrences and with the spirit to Join my Home state NIT, MNNIT, I chilled in September.

In October arrives the Process of counselling, the stage where a click can ruin the whole process. Preference list, payment and document verification all went fluently. College was allocated with the 6th round result and the final payment was made.

Went there for physical verification on the 10th of November with my Parents, that big smile on my face defines all. 14th Nov was orientation day and the day after it, my journey with MNNIT commenced. It was the month of December when I realised why I did so much hard work, why I put my soul and heart into this one exam. The irreplaceable memories, the incredible environment, and the perks of admitting into one of the Top 5 NIT were all attained.

So, I firmly believe that whatever we sacrifice for one or more reasons, we always achieve a better version of outcomes.
