Applied off-campus through the Student Portal. Received an email for interviews after almost one month. Round 1This was my first ever interview was extremely nervous and unsure of what to expect or how it would go. Mock interview experience comes in handy here but I didn’t do them. Asked me a question based on the tree- Boundary Traversal of a given binary tree. Although I had practiced it before messed up while solving it. The interviewer provided me with hints and tried to help me along the way. Although I solved it ultimately, I had a bad feeling that I used too many hints and help. The round went on for one hour. They would have given me two questions but since I took so much time in one question, the round ended with one question only. Round 2This round went extremely well. The experience of the 1st round helped me to calm my nerves. The question was a slight modification of Minimum Time To Rot All Oranges. I used BFS traversal to solve this problem. I was able to solve this by myself without any help from the interviewer. This round also would have had two DSA questions but since the round started 15 minutes later than the planned time, she was happy with one question only. She gave me positive feedback too, which made me hopeful but alas the first round had a big say in the final verdict. Verdict: Rejected |
