As a fresher, I know that saying such a conclusion would not be good but after experiencing it first hand I know the college system, of MDU is rigged and just like they are just taking money for a Degree.

Bad Counselling

The students don’t get college by their marks if anyone has passed the 12th boards and knows the teacher they can take entry through an admission in a branch like electrical or another and then can just slide into CSE with the help of unjust methods and teachers’ help.

Good Infrastructure but bad maintenance due to a Corrupt system

The teachers and institute have so much money in their budget but they don’t fix the issues as they are CORRUPT. The VC(Vice Chancellor) himself has been a suspect of such and they don’t care. Mr Narender Modi may have addressed it as the cleanest and greenest institute but he may have not taken a Hostel tour.

there are many fights between Departments and they are physically brutal the college is just filled with Haryanavi culture but from a bad side as the teacher doesn’t speak properly and some may just insult you taking advantage and showing that it is the Haryanvi culture. The College of Engineering is a part of MDU so it is like a department which is a little different as it is a little maintained in respect to others but the issue is that it only compares to a level where a local private college will come to.

I would prefer you not to take the hostel and take some other college like DCRUST and YMCA any branch as I had made a mistake of taking CSE here than DCRUST as DCRUST has a better culture.

The average package is not online because there are none

Talked to seniors and got to know very few get placed from campus to service-based companies which gives a max of 6LPA on a good day. Most student do further studies or their father’s business.

Will ask to join this college if on a budget and have to further studies off campus with your connections.
