I applied for MindTree Software through the forms and the first step of the application required me to appear for an online assessment.

Round 1

Test Duration: 120 mins
Topics: Quants, Logical reasoning, Verbal ability, and Coding

Overall the test was an easy level, the questions were basic. I completed the test and I was waiting for the results.

Round 2

It was a virtual technical round and I had a male interviewer. The interviewer proceeded with his introduction and asked me to introduce myself. This helped me get comfortable with the interviewer and he seemed friendly.

He asked me basic questions to check my level of preparation like the programming Languages I know.

I told him that I was comfortable with Java and I was well versed in concepts of DSA, SQL, and DBMS.

Then I was asked some technical questions, these were questions related to:

• DSA (data structures and algorithms)
• Core Java
• Some basic puzzles
• Conditional Problems
• Logic behind some competitive problems
• My knowledge about trending technologies (BLOCKCHAIN, AI, ML etc.).

HR Round

I was told it was a technical and an HR round.

• I was asked some basic technical questions.
• The interviewer ended the interview with the question “Why there was no preference for Job Location and technology?”
• I replied that I am fond of Travel and wanted to explore new places.
• He asked me if I was ready to relocate to which I replied in positive. The interview ended on a positive note.

On Mar 2, 6:29 PM, I got a new mail from Mindtree Ltd.

They, Congratulated me on clearing the selection process. I have been shortlisted to receive an offer for the role of Software Engineer at Mindtree.

Verdict: I was Selected
