IIMT University is a private university affiliated with UGC and offers a variety of courses, IIMT Engineering College is affiliated with Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow (AKTU).

IIMT Engineering College follows AKTU guidelines and IIMT University follows UGC guidelines and makes its own rule anytime and anywhere like special carry-over, special sessional, and fines for late fees or any other charges.

The campus of IIMT Engineering College and IIMT University is the same. The main buildings of IIMT University are for AKTU students (B.Tech And MBA) and admission cells.

1st Year to 4th Year:

I’m a student of IIMT Engineering College, I have done B.tech (CSE).

Faculty and Education Quality:

• 30% of the faculty are good and 70% are useless they don’t have any knowledge about what they are teaching.
• They don’t have proper faculty for teaching anyone to teach any subjects. They don’t focus on the quality of Education; they only focus on the quantity of students.

Management and Admission Practices:

Management is not cooperative with students and even with faculty.

The management of IIMT Engineering College seems to be lacking in cooperation with both students and faculty. The practice of admission through commission agents (Dalal) raises serious concerns about transparency and ethical practices in the admission process. Such practices can compromise the merit-based selection of students and the credibility of the institution.

Many Students from Bihar, Jharkhand, and Eastern UP and many take admission through a commission agent (Dalal).

This Dalal is no other than their faculty member, each admission has a commission of up to 40%.

Campus Environment and Safety:

The campus environment is not good anyone comes onto campus and fires a bullet at the gate of the university. In my first year, local (without admission) boys come to the university and fired a few rounds of bullets due to this one girl was injured and by luck, she survived the incident because a bullet pass through touching the above area of her ear. There are many incidents like this. They have a bouncer and guard, but all are useless only for showoff. The campus environment appears to be unsafe, with incidents of violence reported, including gunfire resulting in injuries. The lack of effective security measures and uncooperative bouncers and guards further exacerbate the safety concerns on campus.

Even Chancellor has no manner how to behave with faculty, they slap one of the lift guards due to minor issues.

Let’s talk about the placement.

• Placement is a most important part of the student and also for college.
• In 2023, from my batch up to 20 students out of 60 students get placed, some are core domain, and many are in sales.
• The average package is 2.5 to 3 lakh and the highest is approximately 6-7 lakh.

They show fake data on placement for new admission.
