Reflection of light is a very important concept in physics. After all, this phenomenon is what allows us to see the world around us. In this article, the reflection of light is discussed. Law of Reflection A ray of light(incident) falling on a polished surface is shown to bounce back after striking the said surface at the same angle it struck the surface. The ray after bouncing back is termed the reflected ray and the angle at which it does so is called the angle of reflection. The normal to the perpendicular is what separates the incidence and reflection angles into equal magnitudes. ![]()
