Right from my first year to the second, I saw that the university has promised and prospered in shining vibrant bright with an Academic narrow hall called excellence but also making sure about holistic development. Set amidst a 44-acre sprawling green campus, it is also close to lush environs providing an ambience that allows for the best of learning experience. The modern classroom, state-of-the-art laboratory, and research centers have played a significant role in guiding my academic transition.

Bright Campus Life has been one of the companies I have had most fun at during my time in UPES. The university has had a ton of cultural festivals ranging from Ukti( the lit fest) and URJA (the cultural fest), to even a law festival. These events help display the multifarious skills of students and facilitate opportunities to exchange culture & have an intellectual address. Additionally, the university offers a plethora of student clubs such as our very own design and dance club that have been my lifesavers over this year!

Most notably, the institution is investing in entrepreneurship. Runway Incubator has allowed me to bring my business/project idea into reality by offering resources, mentoring, and funding. I have found the overall experience incredibly empowering as I dabble in my entrepreneurship side, helped by great industry experts to guide me along.

UPES as a University has been redefining the way Education is looked upon at with its unique blend of Technology and Essential Life Skills (TALES) enhancing your employability. Career Services Team of UPES Dehradun spares no effort to make sure that you get placed in top companies under UVERSE, our placement assistance through the Employers program. We have observed a lot of our seniors getting placed at very attractive figures, the highest one being 50 LPA INR in the last year. This has me feeling pretty confident and excited as I soon will enter the workforce.

As for friendships and relationships, it has been a roller coaster ride of experiences during my time at UPES. I am lucky enough to have met so many amazing, kind-hearted people on the other side of my screen but there were also a few who took advantage. This lesson has also helped me to value the art of discernment and the necessity for me to place myself in rooms with other dreamers.

I love everything about UPES, one of the first things i have in my mind is that its a very energetic environment and helps you to grow as an individual. The greenery and tranquility of the campus have constantly inspired me keeping in natural boost throughout. Another positive thing I retired with was a newfound desire to be more eco-friendly and sustainable, the more practice work I did, it made me thought about what impact my actions/properties will have on this planet. But I have stumbled upon a few things about college. The academics might be difficult at times, and I have had to figure out how to control my stress as well as practice self-care first.

All in all, My Journey at UPES has been a heart-touching one. My personal and professional growth too has been enhanced due to the university that stands by academic excellence, complete with a splendid campus life as well as an environment which is conducive for holistic development. As I complete my second year, with a heart full of gratitude and hope, knowing that the foothold provided to me by UPES is only paving way for me in future endeavors where I shall look forward to creating something substantial for mankind.
