Mahindra Comviva Interview Experience for Product Development Engineer (On Campus) 2023 Full-Time

Initially, we got the mail to apply for Comviva (A tech Mahindra Company) campus drive from the college

Total Rounds in the Hiring process: 3

  1. Online Assessment
  2. Technical Interview
  3. Hr interview

Round 1: Online test

The online test was conducted on the Mercer Mettle platform and comprised of the following:

  • Cognitive Ability. Suggestion: I would suggest practicing from sites like GeeksforGeeks, Indiabix, etc. as it will give the confidence to solve problems.
  • MCQS -> Includes Java and Oops concepts, Linux, SQL, HTML, and CSS. Suggestion: I would suggest doing mcq questions from GeeksforGeeks, TutorialsPoint, and JavaTPoint to get in touch with all the concepts.
  • Coding – 2 Questions (Easy to Medium level). Suggestion: Practice easy to medium-level questions from leetcode, GFG.

Tips: Don’t spend too much sitting on 1 question if you are not able to do it. Leave it and move forward.

Round 2: Technical Interview Round

It happened on campus and was a physical process.

  • Questions from the Resume. He asked me about my projects and my Tech Stack which was basically web development. He asked me what promises in Javascript, and how to implement them.
  • He asked me to write code in any language to reverse a string using O(N) time complexities. I wrote the pseudocode for it using the two-pointer method and he was satisfied.
  • At last, he asked us whether we had any questions related to the company.

Tips: Explain the code line by line after you wrote it.

Round 3: HR Round

This round happened online and was taken by the HR head. Some of the questions asked to me were:

  • Tell me something about yourself.
  • Tell me a situation where you have handled your stress.
  • Are you planning for higher studies?
  • Tell me about your family who is there in your family?
  • Are you available for relocation?
  • Tell me about your projects.
  • On a scale of 1-10, how much would you rate yourself in Java?

Tips: Have proper knowledge of what have you written on the resume. Be calm & answer politely.

Finally, after 2 days the result came and I was selected. After 10 days I got my LOI(Letter of Intent).
