My campus life started way back in 2021 when I was admitted to one of the top-notch colleges in my city, Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur. Currently, I’m in the 6th semester (3rd year) pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering.

About College

My college is a blend of studies, activities, countless memories, and diverse experiences. It offers labs for every subject with high-speed networks, facilitating student work on their systems. Exams, like sweet bubble gum, leave a lasting impression through college life, though some find them bitter.

The library is a welcoming haven with new and classic books promising journeys of discovery. Natural light fills the hall, creating a cozy space for students to explore literary treasures. Our collection is carefully curated to provide the latest resources.

Our college boasts various clubs like Foxogyan, Dance, Sports, Singing, Fashion, Photography, Language, and Entrepreneurship, encouraging student participation and holistic development. These activities enrich rather than distract from education.

The sports area, including basketball, badminton, football, and more, is enjoyed by students and teachers alike. The amphitheater and auditorium host cultural events, performances, and academic activities, fostering confidence among students.

Our campus is lush with green gardens and ample parking. The canteen serves fresh sandwiches, chaat, dosa, sambar, and cold coffee, a bustling hub for social interaction and relaxation for students, faculty, and staff.

My Experience

In my first year, I was introduced to many clubs that were in the college wherein I joined the debate club. The first semester was spent mostly at home due to COVID-19.

The second year greeted everyone with its warmth in August. I joined Udyam E-cell primarily to explore myself but it turned out to be a superb experience for me. There, I performed tasks for it and used to submit it on time. To my surprise, I got to know that I had topped 1st year with the highest percentage and was awarded in the Lakshya Ceremony hosted by Gyanotsav in 2023. It was a moment of mixed emotions filled with joy, astonishment, utterly elated and pleasantly surprised at the same time.

3rd year came in the blink of an eye and I found myself still absorbing its challenges and opportunities. From becoming public relations lead at Udyam E-Cell to finding myself engrossed in minor projects, exams, sharpening coding and improving communication to polishing myself in every possible way.

College Fests

Here comes the turn of college fests. Holi celebration, Gyanotsav, from winter breeze to DJ nights and who can forget our famous dholida-nights during navratri, celebration of tourism of various states to numerous countries worldwide and the list of fests in my college goes on. These fests significantly contribute to the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of my college.

Placement Cell

Placement Cell knows its work well. From informing students about internships, and competitions to organizing sessions headed by industry experts. It’s the collective hard work of TPO (Training and Placement Cell), teachers and students of my college that every year hundreds of students find their dreams come true of getting placed in companies.

Conclusion

The fests, canteen, mandatory uniform, beautiful and meaningful quotes on the wall- these and many like these are just the punctuation marks. The narrative of excellence and commitment to first making them a responsible citizen is written every day in the CLASSROOMS.
